Regional Category Buyer – Electricals & Electronics

About the role

Join Parker’s Direct Procurement EMEA team as a Regional Category Buyer responsible for Electricals and Electronics. You will drive procurement synergies across the region, generate savings, and improve delivery performance for a €100 million spend portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Execute the Category Manager’s strategy and lead sourcing projects, engaging cross‑functional stakeholders.
• Consolidate spend, leverage regional volume, and run tenders to maximise cost savings and value‑add.
• Maintain supplier relationships to ensure quality, on‑time delivery, flexibility and priority.
• Support divisions with VA/VE opportunities, NPI involvement and electronic Kaizens.
• Monitor and exceed KPI targets, manage supplier evaluation and risk, and prepare post‑event reports.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of procurement experience, including at least 2 years in the relevant category.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain or Business Administration (Master’s a plus).
• Strong analytical, project‑management and negotiation skills.
• Fluent in English; additional European language is advantageous.
• Proven ability to work across teams, functions and countries in an EMEA environment.

Required skills

• Experience with spend analysis, supplier consolidation and tender management.
