Regional Medical Lead, Nephrology

About the role

The Regional Medical Lead, Nephrology will provide strategic medical leadership across the nephrology portfolio, linking global strategy with regional affiliate needs. The role focuses on pipeline development, launch readiness, evidence generation, and medical execution to improve patient outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead regional medical strategy and execution, ensuring affiliate insights and evolving standards of care inform global plans.
• Provide medical leadership for clinical development, evidence generation, publication planning, and lifecycle management.
• Partner with affiliates and cross‑functional teams to maintain a consistent medical voice across the region.
• Identify evidence and patient journey gaps and deliver strategic recommendations.
• Build and maintain relationships with key medical experts, healthcare organizations, and patient advocacy groups.

Required profile

• Advanced scientific or medical degree (MD, PhD, or PharmD) with at least 10 years of pharma/biotech experience.
• Strong nephrology expertise and experience across the product lifecycle.
• Proven ability to influence and collaborate in a matrix organization at regional and global levels.
• Excellent scientific communication, stakeholder engagement, and strategic thinking skills.
