Regional Technician Trainer – NorthEast (TriState Area)

About the role

The Regional Technician Trainer is responsible for onboarding new technicians, delivering localized training, and assessing skill levels across the NorthEast TriState area. The role includes mentorship, safety reinforcement, and ensuring consistent service quality.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with branch and field service managers to onboard new hires, providing safety, technical, and customer service training.
• Deliver classroom and ride‑along training on generator maintenance, troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs.
• Standardize onboarding processes, training curricula, and competency assessments across all regional branches.
• Conduct field quality audits, safety inspections, and post‑repair reviews to maintain high service standards.
• Track onboarding progress, time‑to‑competency metrics, and provide performance feedback to management.

Required profile

• Prior experience as a high‑level service technician, preferably with generators or related mechanical/electrical equipment.
• Experience training, mentoring, or coaching technicians in a field service environment.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA requirements, safety practices, and ability to conduct safety audits.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written.
• Ability to travel extensively across the assigned region.
