Relationship Manager – Institutional Sales (Romandie)

About the role

Vontobel Asset Management is seeking a Relationship Manager to drive institutional client acquisition and service in the Romandie region. Based in Geneva, you will work closely with the Region Head to expand the firm’s presence among Swiss institutional investors.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with the Region Head to strengthen institutional coverage in Romandie.
• Drive a structured sales process from lead generation to conversion, maintaining disciplined pipeline management.
• Manage and deepen existing client relationships while originating new business opportunities.
• Lead RFP and tender processes, delivering optimal client solutions in collaboration with support teams.
• Continuously improve operational responsiveness by refining internal processes.
• Contribute to planning regional roadshows and marketing campaigns.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of proven sales experience in institutional client acquisition.
• University degree in business, economics, finance or a related field.
• Established network within Romandie‑based institutional clients.
• Ability to thrive under high‑pressure situations and work both independently and collaboratively.
• Broad knowledge of investment products and strong commercial mindset.
• Native French speaker with fluent English (written and spoken).
• High personal integrity and excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
