Research Manager – Ruminant Nutrition

About the role

ADM’s Animal Nutrition Research & Development group is seeking a Research Manager to lead innovative projects in ruminant nutrition. The role involves translating scientific concepts into market‑ready solutions that enhance ruminant health and performance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end solution development projects, coordinating cross‑functional workstreams such as Commercial, Regulatory, and Production.
• Conduct discovery and proof‑of‑concept studies in internal R&D facilities, ranging from in‑vitro assays to in‑vivo trials.
• Develop and maintain collaborations with academic institutions and industry partners.
• Promote ADM Animal Nutrition through peer‑reviewed publications and scientific presentations.
• Support the creation and protection of intellectual property.

Required profile

• Ph.D. in Animal Nutrition, Ruminant Nutrition, Animal Sciences, or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in the ruminant nutrition industry.
• Proven ability to design, coordinate, and execute product development projects from concept to commercialization.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a global, cross‑functional environment.

Required skills

• Deep knowledge of feed ingredients, additives, and their impact on rumen physiology and metabolism.
• Experience with both in‑vitro and in‑vivo research methodologies.
