Restaurant General Manager

About the role

Lead Basalt Restaurant & Bar at The Park Gstaad, a Four Seasons Hotel, overseeing guest experience, operational excellence and financial performance during the pre‑opening and first summer season.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage all operations of Basalt Restaurant & Bar.
• Drive exceptional guest experiences and uphold Four Seasons luxury service standards.
• Develop the venue’s positioning as a premier dining and social destination.
• Lead, develop and retain a high‑performing team.
• Manage revenue growth, profitability, budgets, labor productivity and operating costs.
• Collaborate with the Executive Chef and F&B leadership to ensure seamless food, beverage and entertainment experiences.
• Build relationships with repeat guests, VIPs, owners, suppliers and local partners.
• Support activations, special events, promotions and guest‑engagement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and food‑safety regulations.
• Contribute to hotel opening activities, seasonal readiness and concept development.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in luxury restaurant, bar or hospitality operations.
• Degree or Diploma in Hospitality Management or related field preferred.
• Strong leadership, commercial acumen and ability to deliver luxury service standards.
• Fluent in English and German and/or French; additional languages advantageous.
• Swiss or EU/EFTA citizenship or valid Swiss work authorization.
