Rotating Receptionist – Luxury Hotel

About the role

Join the Front Office team at Mandarin Oriental Geneva as a Rotating Receptionist. You will be the first point of contact for guests, delivering the brand’s legendary 5‑star service while supporting both day and night operations.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor daily arrivals and departures, keeping the booking and occupancy schedules up to date.
• Process reservations received by phone, email or letter within 24 hours, ensuring accuracy.
• Prepare guest arrivals – print registration cards, assemble group folders and manage check‑in procedures.
• Welcome guests, adhere to Mandarin Oriental hospitality standards, and handle credit authorizations or cash deposits.
• Organise guest departures, manage billing, release rooms and follow safe‑departure protocols.
• Complete all shift‑specific administrative tasks and maintain the daily checklist.
• Work flexible day and night shifts according to operational needs.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a hotel front‑office or reception role.
• Strong team spirit, curiosity and a willingness to learn.
• Excellent communication skills and a flexible attitude.
• Valid Swiss work permit or European passport.
