Sales Account Executive – Corporate Insurance Solutions

About the role

Our client, an international consultancy specializing in risk and insurance solutions for corporate clients in Switzerland, seeks a commercially driven Sales Account Executive. You will manage a portfolio of corporate clients, develop relationships, and actively grow the business.

Key responsibilities

• Independently manage and advise a portfolio of corporate clients as the main contact for decision‑makers.
• Identify and act on cross‑selling opportunities to expand the existing client base.
• Conduct regular client meetings and presentations, including at C‑level.
• Collaborate with internal specialists to design tailored insurance and coverage solutions.
• Lead tenders, contract and portfolio analyses, and contribute to strong RFP proposals.
• Support clients with claims and risk‑management topics.
• Maintain and expand the network of insurance partners and represent the company at networking events.
• Participate in cross‑functional projects to improve services and processes.

Required profile

• Completed training or degree in insurance or business (e.g., Swiss Federal Diploma in Insurance, Insurance Economist HF, or University of Applied Sciences degree).
• Experience advising and managing SME or corporate clients.
• Strong sales, closing, persuasiveness and negotiation skills.
• Confidence dealing with executive management or a drive to develop it.
• High initiative, structured, results‑oriented working style and strong analytical abilities.
• Team player comfortable in agile teams and projects.
• Excellent German and English (written and spoken); French is an advantage.
• Tender experience is a plus.
