Sales & Business Unit Manager – Truck

About the role

We are seeking a Sales and Business Unit Manager for the Truck division of a leading nationwide service provider. Reporting to senior management, you will own the commercial growth and operational performance of the Truck BU across Switzerland.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and acquire new customers to drive sustainable business growth.
• Develop and deepen relationships with existing key accounts.
• Lead contract negotiations, pricing discussions and proposal preparation.
• Define and execute the business growth strategy for the Truck BU.
• Represent the company at industry events and professional networks.
• Support marketing and market development initiatives.
• Lead a small team of operational specialists (approximately three people).
• Ensure high service quality, customer satisfaction and efficient resource planning.
• Oversee inventory and supply‑chain coordination.
• Drive continuous improvement and operational efficiency initiatives.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in business development, sales, key‑account management or general management.
• Strong knowledge of the commercial vehicle, truck, transport, logistics or fleet industry.
• Proven experience leading teams and managing business performance.
• Commercial acumen combined with a hands‑on operational mindset.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Entrepreneurial, autonomous and results‑oriented personality.
• Native German speaker with excellent English; French is a plus.
