Sales Director B2B – New Customer Acquisition

About the role

The Sales Director – New Customer Acquisition leads the commercial acquisition function for the EMEA region within our pet nutrition business. Reporting to senior leadership, you will own the growth strategy, pipeline development and execution for net‑new B2B partnerships across untapped markets.

Key responsibilities

• Define and drive the regional new‑business acquisition strategy aligned with global priorities.
• Accelerate pipeline creation through structured outbound sales activities and maintain robust data in CRM tools such as Salesforce.
• Own regional revenue growth, margin optimization and achievement of net‑new acquisition targets.
• Build executive‑level relationships with distributors, major pet brands and strategic manufacturer accounts.
• Develop multi‑year business plans covering market entry, forecasting, budgeting and aggressive growth scenarios.
• Monitor market dynamics, competitor activity and consumer trends to refine go‑to‑market approaches.
• Lead major negotiations, contract structuring and secure long‑term supply agreements.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with marketing, product development, R&D, supply chain and operations to onboard new accounts.

Required profile

• 10–15+ years of experience in sales, commercial leadership or business development with a focus on new customer acquisition.
• Proven track record of delivering top‑line growth, margin improvement and market‑share expansion in competitive B2B environments.
• Experience leading multi‑country commercial teams and integrating B2C insights into the sales process.
• Strong financial acumen with full P&L responsibility and pricing discipline.
