Sales Specialist – Data Solutions & Storage

About the role

HPE is expanding its Storage salesforce in Switzerland and seeks a dynamic Sales Specialist for Data Solutions & Storage. The role is hybrid, requiring on‑site presence about two days per week.

Key responsibilities

• Engage daily with existing and new customers, collaborating with channel partners and solution architects.
• Build and manage a long‑term pipeline to increase HPE’s market share in the Swiss market.
• Apply a consultative and challenger selling approach to position HPE’s Storage and Data Services portfolio as a strategic enabler of hybrid cloud, cyber resilience, AI and digital transformation.
• Lead opportunities through the full sales lifecycle, from qualification to contract closure.

Required profile

• Academic degree in business administration, technology or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Proven sales experience in Storage, Data Solutions or broader IT infrastructure with a track record of selling complex technology solutions.
• Strong customer orientation, consultative selling style and ability to engage business and IT decision‑makers.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of Storage and Data Services market (Backup & Recovery, Data Protection, Cyber Resilience, File/Object Storage, Hybrid Cloud).
• Experience building and forecasting a sales pipeline for enterprise and public‑sector accounts.
• Fluency in Swiss German and English.
