Sales Support Specialist – Service Quotations

About the role

ABB is looking for a Sales Support Specialist to develop customer quotations and service solutions for electrical switchgear. You will work in a hybrid model, collaborating with Service Sales, Project Management, Engineering and Field Service teams.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze customer inquiries and quotation requests for service, retrofit and modernization of low‑ and medium‑voltage switchgear.
• Define scope of work, main components and service deliverables based on technical feasibility.
• Assess technical feasibility together with Engineering, Project Management and Field Service.
• Prepare cost calculations and technical sales documentation to create competitive, risk‑aware proposals.

Required profile

• Technical education in electrical engineering or equivalent hands‑on experience.
• Practical experience with low‑voltage or medium‑voltage switchgear (assembly, commissioning, service, retrofit or project execution).
• Strong understanding of electrical power distribution and customer‑focused service solutions.
• Independent, structured, team‑oriented and fluent in German or French plus English.
