SAP Platform Architect

About the role

Our SAP platform is at a pivotal moment, moving to RISE, migrating to S/4HANA, embracing Clean Core and building BTP foundations for the next decade of innovation. The Platform Architect connects architecture, extensibility, developer enablement and governance across a portfolio of iconic luxury Maisons.

Key responsibilities

• Define and govern the SAP platform architecture across S/4HANA, SAP BTP and integration touchpoints, setting guardrails and ensuring sustainable extensions.
• Lead the OSBF Design Authority, promote Clean Core principles and align the extensibility strategy with SAP’s roadmap and enterprise architecture.
• Shape the technical roadmap for four strategic pillars: architecture vision, Clean Core governance, standards & guardrails, and community enablement.
• Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture on cross‑cutting concerns such as disaster recovery, CI/CD integration and AI strategy integration.

Required profile

• 10+ years of progressive experience in SAP ecosystems with deep expertise in S/4HANA, SAP BTP and hybrid integration; at least 3 years in an SAP platform architecture role.
• Master’s degree in computer science, engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong communication skills, ability to influence stakeholders and work collaboratively with security, operations and enterprise architecture teams.

Required skills

• SAP S/4HANA architecture and Clean Core methodology.
• SAP Business Technology Platform services (CAP, Integration Suite, Build Work Zone, HANA Cloud, AI Core, Event Mesh).
• API‑first design, event‑driven architecture and Fiori/UX development.
• CI/CD pipelines and configuration‑as‑code using Terraform.
• Security protocols such as SAML 2.0, OIDC and SSO.
• RISE with SAP operating model and SAP Cloud ALM.
