Science Teacher (Middle & High School)

About the role

The successful candidate will join Collège du Léman to teach Science to Middle School (Secondaire) and potentially Chemistry to High School students. The role begins on 13 August 2026 and may include responsibilities as a homeroom advisor, supporting both day and boarding students in a vibrant international community.

Key responsibilities

• Promote the school’s mission and RISE values by fostering an inclusive, caring learning environment.
• Engage and motivate students of all abilities, including English language learners.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure curriculum coherence across grade levels.
• Assess student work, record grades in the online grade book, and produce timely school reports.
• Utilise and develop existing resources for Middle School Science classes and, where needed, teach Chemistry to High School.
• Support students with diagnosed learning differences and undertake any additional duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Relevant Science qualification together with a recognized teaching qualification.
• Master’s degree in pedagogy is preferred.
• Proven experience teaching Middle and/or High School in an international school setting, preferably with English‑language learners.
• Ability to meet the needs of students with learning differences.
• Experience as a homeroom advisor is an asset.
• Native‑level English proficiency.

• Proficiency with educational technology to enhance curriculum delivery.
