Scientific Consultant – Assay Analytics

About the role

Genedata is seeking a Scientific Consultant to help biopharmaceutical customers get the most out of its flagship platform, Genedata Screener. You will act as a subject‑matter expert, educator and trusted partner, guiding customers through the full adoption lifecycle from pre‑sales to production use.

Key responsibilities

• Become an expert on Genedata Screener and biological data analysis.
• Provide end‑to‑end support, including deployment, implementation, optimization and ongoing usage.
• Plan and lead projects such as custom implementations, system integrations and data‑analysis initiatives.
• Collaborate with sales colleagues to communicate product value to prospects and existing customers.
• Contribute scientific and technical insights to strategic initiatives across product, marketing and development teams.

Required profile

• Post‑graduate degree in biology, bioinformatics, biochemistry, chemistry or a related life‑science discipline.
• Basic familiarity with the shell command‑line interface.
• Basic experience with Python scripting.
• Project‑management experience or formal training.
• Ability to present complex scientific topics clearly and compellingly.
• Willingness to travel (up to four overnight stays per year in continental Europe and occasional trips elsewhere).
