Security Engineer – Secure Platform & Operations

About the role

We are looking for a hands‑on Security Engineer to design, build, and operate secure‑by‑design controls that protect our banking platforms, applications, and data. You will implement and maintain security tools, ensure regulatory compliance, and contribute to a resilient, reliable environment.

Key responsibilities

• Engineer, deploy, and maintain security platforms and controls such as PAM, DAM, CSPM, DLP, and Vulnerability Management.
• Review application designs for security compliance, provide guidance, identify gaps, and track remediation.
• Implement security‑by‑design and security‑by‑default patterns across infrastructure, applications, and data services.
• Handle security ticketing: triage, prioritize, resolve, and coordinate with platform and application teams.
• Define secure configuration baselines and perform compliance checks.
• Support the incident response lifecycle, including containment, eradication, recovery, and post‑incident analysis.
• Monitor cyber platform SLAs/KPIs (availability, performance, detection efficacy) and drive continuous improvement.

Required profile

• 3–7+ years of experience in Security Engineering, Security Operations, or Secure Platform Engineering.
• Strong problem‑solving skills with a passion for automation and reliability.
• Ability to translate security requirements into scalable engineering solutions in a regulated financial environment.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Self‑motivated, high integrity, and resilient under pressure.
