Segment Marketing Manager

About the role

The global Marketing Team of the Laboratory Division is seeking a proactive Segment Marketing Manager to drive marketing strategy, campaigns and training for key laboratory segments.

Key responsibilities

• Provide industry expertise for marketing strategy, planning, campaigns and material creation across the LAB Division.
• Act as segment expert for Pharma & Biotech, Food & Beverage, and Testing Laboratories customers.
• Research and write value and campaign content, maintain accurate market segment profiles.
• Lead and support sales‑related projects in collaboration with Strategic Business Units.
• Conduct continuous market monitoring, impact analysis and recommend corrective actions.
• Deliver LAB marketing trainings via online portal and face‑to‑face sessions.

Required profile

• Bachelor or master degree in biotechnology, chemistry, food technology or related natural science.
• Several years of B2B marketing experience in an international matrix organization.
• Strong understanding of laboratory processes, applications and instruments.
• Fluent in English (minimum C1); German and other languages are desirable.

Required skills

• Ability to translate complex concepts into simple words and visuals.
• High motivation, quick comprehension and initiative in project work.
