Senior Accountant – Finance Department (Full-time)

About the role

We are expanding our new manufacturing site in Switzerland and need a motivated Senior Accountant to join our Finance department in Brügg. You will be responsible for managing accounts‑receivable processes, supporting month‑end and year‑end closings, and ensuring compliance with internal controls.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily AR activities, including cash receipt allocations.
• Perform balance‑sheet reconciliations and support cash‑statement preparation.
• Book accruals, allocations and actively participate in monthly and year‑end closings.
• Assist the team during internal and external audits.
• Participate in credit‑limit assessments, bad‑debt analysis and process‑optimisation projects.
• Ensure compliance with SOX, US‑GAAP and other business procedures.

Required profile

• Commercial Finance Diploma or Advanced Federal Diploma of Higher Education.
• Excellent written and spoken English; German or French is a plus.
• Strong ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• 2‑3 years of AR experience, preferably in an international environment.
• Effective communication with colleagues, supervisors and business partners.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
