Senior Accountant – Multi-Entity & SSC Expertise

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our lean, flat finance organization. The role will own the General Ledger for two entities, ensure accurate month‑end closings and support statutory reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Take ownership of the General Ledger across both entities and lead monthly, quarterly and annual closings.
• Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, provisions and adjustments.
• Maintain balance‑sheet integrity through robust reconciliations and intercompany balance validation.
• Support preparation of statutory accounts and ensure compliance with local regulations.
• Implement and monitor internal controls, identify accounting risks and ensure segregation of duties.
• Collaborate with the Shared Service Center (AP, Fixed Assets, Master Data, Cash Management, Intercompany, AR/Billing) to review outputs and resolve complex issues.
• Provide guidance to two Senior Accountants and two Junior Accountants and contribute to finance transformation projects such as ERP improvements.
• Coordinate tax matters with SSC and external advisors and participate in internal and external audits.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of accounting experience with strong General Ledger and closing expertise.
• Proven experience in a multi‑entity and Shared Service Center environment.
• Comfortable working in a lean, flat organization.
• Degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent.

• Financial accounting, reconciliations and closing processes.
• SSC operating models and internal controls.
• Intercompany accounting.
• IFRS and local GAAP knowledge.
• ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle or Microsoft Dynamics.
• Advanced Excel.
