Senior Analog IC Design Engineer – Sensor Product Line

About the role

Monolithic Power Systems is seeking a Senior Analog IC Design Engineer for its sensor product line. The role involves designing mixed‑signal building blocks, specifying design targets, and leading the sensor product design phase from concept through silicon validation.

Key responsibilities

• Circuit design of mixed‑signal building blocks, including analog design of key blocks
• Analysis and optimization of performance
• Design verification and IC layout follow‑up
• Design for test, yield, and reliability
• Specify and implement functional safety features
• Cooperate with the digital team to define system architecture
• Collaborate with overseas teams to develop production test flow
• Write documentation for designs and architectures
• Participate in silicon evaluation in the lab

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in analog/mixed‑signal circuit design and IC development
• Experience in signal processing and sensors (strongly desired)
• Good understanding of high‑speed layout considerations (parasitics, crosstalk, supply and bias distribution)
• Solid analytical thinking and problem‑solving skills
• Proficiency with CAD tools and mixed‑signal simulation environments
• Fluent English communication and strong teamwork abilities
• Project management experience and ability to work independently
• Willingness to travel occasionally
• Self‑motivated and results‑oriented
