Senior Analog & Power Electronics Hardware Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a hands‑on Senior Analog & Power Electronics Hardware Engineer to join INAUTALENT’s team supporting the International Space Federation in Martigny, Switzerland. The role involves taking concepts from initial design through to working prototypes of high‑performance analog and power boards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead full‑custom analog and power board development, including schematics, simulations, PCB layout guidance, prototyping, testing and iterative refinement.
• Design robust power‑stage topologies (half‑bridge, full‑bridge, Class A/AB/D/E, switched‑mode) and apply impedance‑matching and resonant techniques for 100 kHz – 100 MHz applications.
• Own end‑to‑end hardware projects, collaborate on layout, fabrication and integration, and use lab equipment (oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, VNAs, impedance analyzers) for validation and debugging.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electrical Engineering or related field with 7+ years of analog/power electronics experience (or 5+ years with strong project record).
• Proven track record designing full‑custom analog boards, power amplification stages, and impedance‑matching networks.
• Solid practical knowledge of passive components, high‑voltage isolation, gate‑driver design and safety standards.

Required skills

• Schematic capture and PCB layout tools (KiCad preferred; Altium acceptable).
• SPICE simulation tools (LTspice, SIMetrix, PSpice).
• Hands‑on lab skills: SMD/through‑hole soldering, reflow, Gerber generation, BOM procurement.
• Use of high‑voltage test equipment, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, VNAs, impedance analyzers.
