Senior Associate / Assistant Manager – Audit Trade, Industries & Services

About the role

Join PwC's Non‑Financial Services Audit practice as a Senior Associate or Assistant Manager, focusing on trade, industry and services clients. You will work on assurance engagements for both national and international corporations, helping them improve governance and the reliability of their financial information.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute and finalise audit engagements and special audits for clients in industry, trade and services.
• Review annual and group financial statements prepared under OR, IFRS, Swiss GAAP FER or US GAAP.
• Assess business processes, identify risks and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Collaborate with Engagement Managers and specialist teams throughout the audit lifecycle.
• Utilise and help enhance PwC’s digital audit tools and methodologies.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships across a diverse portfolio.

Required profile

• Experienced audit professional with a solid understanding of financial reporting standards.
• Analytical mindset capable of evaluating performance, risks and sustainability aspects of client businesses.
• Team‑oriented attitude, valuing diversity and different perspectives.
• Motivation to develop professionally through coaching and continuous learning.

Required skills

• Knowledge of Swiss Code of Obligations (OR) accounting principles.
• Proficiency with IFRS, Swiss GAAP FER and US GAAP reporting standards.
• Experience using digital audit tools and willingness to contribute to their improvement.
