Senior Assurance Controls Assistant

About the role

Deloitte is seeking a proactive professional to join its Assurance practice as a Senior Controls Assistant. You will work directly with clients and internal teams to strengthen internal control frameworks, ensuring compliance with financial, operational, and legal standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and support projects focused on financial internal controls, risk identification, and control design.
• Advise clients on optimizing internal control frameworks and mitigating identified risks.
• Collaborate with external auditors to facilitate compliance assessments and address control deficiencies.
• Build trust‑based relationships with clients, auditors, and Deloitte teams.
• Contribute to market initiatives and service innovation within Controls Assurance.

Required profile

• Background in finance or accounting with a bachelor’s degree or partial/full accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CPA, etc.).
• 2‑3 years of experience in Big 4 PCAOB audits, specifically in controls or SOX 404 engagements.
• Strong knowledge of core business processes, ICOFR controls, and risk management concepts.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills in French and English (German a plus).
