Senior Auditor – Financial Services

About the role

EY is seeking a Senior Auditor for its Financial Services Assurance department in Zurich. You will work on audits of Switzerland's largest financial institutions, gaining exposure to complex banking environments, global audit teams, and cross‑border engagements.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain productive relationships with client personnel and monitor client satisfaction throughout the year.
• Translate audit strategy into detailed audit programs and execute audits of local and international financial service providers under Swiss or international accounting standards.
• Deliver FINMA supplementary audits on special topics and coordinate cross‑border audit workstreams.

Required profile

• 2–4 years of audit experience in banking, asset management, insurance or broader financial services.
• Currently pursuing the Swiss CPA qualification.
• Strong knowledge of Swiss and international accounting standards.
• Fluent in German and English (written and spoken); French is a strong asset.
