Senior Auditor in Financial Services

About the role

EY's Assurance Service Line is hiring a Senior Auditor in Financial Services in Geneva. You will work with national and international banking clients, helping to grow the practice through trusted client relationships and high-performing teams, within an international and multicultural environment. The role includes intensive on-the-job training combined with supervision and counselling.

Key responsibilities

• Build trust and confidence through transparency, clarity and consistency.
• Report on the fairness of audited financial statements in all material respects.
• Report to regulators such as FINMA on verification results required by prudential legislation (e.g. AML, suitability, corporate governance).
• Deliver audits of the highest quality, giving clients a better perspective of their business and more transparency into the audit.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Accounting, Audit & Management Control, Corporate Finance, Business Administration or Economics; a Swiss university degree is an asset.
• Certified public accountant's diploma or similar (Swiss CPA, DEC, ACCA, etc.).
• 2-3 years' experience in external audit; Big Four experience and Swiss regulatory audit experience are strong assets.
• Excellent French, spoken and written; English and German are strong assets, others a plus.
