Senior Auditor – Private Bank (Partial Workload)

About the role

Our client is a long‑established private bank seeking a Senior Auditor on a partial‑workload basis. The role reports directly to the Board of Directors, Audit Committee and Executive Management, providing independent assurance on governance, risk management and internal controls.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end audit engagements, from risk‑based planning and scoping through fieldwork, testing, reporting and follow‑up.
• Provide independent assurance and insight to the Board, Audit Committee and senior management on the effectiveness of governance, risk management and internal control frameworks across Finance, Treasury, Risk and other key areas.
• Collaborate in an international matrix environment, coordinating with Group Internal Audit and regional counterparts to ensure consistent standards and share best practices.

Required profile

• Extensive internal audit experience at senior level, capable of independently managing full audit assignments.
• Proven track record of engaging with Boards, Audit Committees and senior management.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication abilities, high integrity and professional scepticism.
• Fluency in English; German and/or Spanish are strong assets.
