Senior Azure DevOps Engineer

About the role

EveryWare, Switzerland’s leading cloud and managed IT services provider, is seeking a Senior Azure DevOps Engineer to design, implement and maintain scalable, secure and automated cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure and the ELCA Sovereign Cloud.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain Azure cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Puppet).
• Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test and deployment (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
• Ensure high availability, performance, security and scalability of Azure environments.
• Administer and troubleshoot Linux and Windows servers in cloud and hybrid environments.
• Implement monitoring, logging and alerting solutions.
• Support incident response, root‑cause analysis and continuous optimization.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to DevOps standards and documentation.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Senior DevOps / Azure DevOps Engineer.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Microsoft Azure services (compute, networking, storage, identity).
• Solid expertise in Infrastructure as Code, especially Terraform.
• Good Linux and/or Windows system administration knowledge.
• Fluent in English and French; German or Swiss German required for Bern office applicants.
