Senior Business Value Consultant - Banking

About the role

SAP Fioneer is looking for a Senior Business Value Consultant for its Banking practice in Zurich. You will act as a trusted advisor to customers and internal stakeholders, shaping, quantifying and articulating the business value of SAP Fioneer solutions at executive level. You own complex value narratives end-to-end and influence deal strategy, solution positioning and customer decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Own value-based engagements with customers from early pipeline phases through deal closure
• Develop robust, board-ready business cases covering ROI, TCO, cost avoidance and operational efficiency impact
• Prepare and deliver executive-level value stories linking SAP Fioneer capabilities to customer strategy, regulatory drivers and measurable outcomes
• Provide value-focused input for complex RFIs/RFPs, including scenario modelling and commercial impact assessments
• Facilitate senior stakeholder workshops to align on priorities, success metrics and transformation roadmaps
• Contribute to best practices, value frameworks and reusable assets across the Banking portfolio
• Support post-implementation value tracking and customer success narratives

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in banking technology, management consulting, value advisory or solution consulting within financial services
• Proven track record of owning, structuring and defending business cases with senior client stakeholders, including C-level executives
• Strong understanding of how business value is created, quantified and communicated in large-scale banking transformations
• Solid understanding of core banking, payments or transactional banking processes
