Senior C# Software Engineer - Railway Industry

About the role

A Senior C# Software Engineer is sought to support innovative projects in the railway industry. The selected candidate joins an international engineering team and contributes to the design, development, integration and maintenance of software solutions for railway applications, ensuring technical quality, reliability and performance throughout the project lifecycle. The position is based in Switzerland, on-site or remote, and requires 5+ years of experience.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain software applications using C# and .NET technologies.
• Contribute to software architecture, technical design and implementation.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on system integration and deployment.
• Analyze, troubleshoot and resolve software issues to ensure reliability and performance.
• Take part in software testing, validation and quality assurance.
• Support the configuration and management of development and deployment environments.
• Ensure compliance with project requirements, development standards and best engineering practices.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related technical field.
• Strong hands-on experience in C# software development.
• Experience on complex software projects in an industrial environment.
• Ability to work in international and cross-functional teams.
• Fluent English or French; knowledge of both languages is a plus.
