Senior Chemical & Pharmaceutical Construction Coordinator

About the role

ARTELIA Industrie Suisse SA is looking for a senior coordinator to supervise construction and installation activities for chemical, pharmaceutical and process industry projects at its Basel office. The role reports to the office director and involves managing new installations and upgrades of existing units.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor project planning, technical validation, procurement, financial follow‑up and quotation preparation.
• Coordinate and supervise on‑site construction and equipment installation activities.
• Act as the local contact for customers and ensure compliance with quality, safety and regulatory requirements.
• Guarantee adherence to Quality and HSE policies and coordinate internal and external stakeholders.
• Track schedules, costs and progress, support technical decisions and resolve on‑site issues.

Required profile

• Degree as ES Technician, HES/EPF Engineer or equivalent in mechanical, chemical engineering or related field.
• At least 10 years of experience in construction supervision, site coordination and project execution in industrial environments, preferably chemical/pharmaceutical.
• Strong industrial culture with solid knowledge of piping and equipment installation.
• Leadership, coordination abilities and rigorous project management focus.
• Fluent German; French and/or English at B2 level.
