Senior Clinical Research Associate (CRA) - Switzerland

About the role

Syneos Health is recruiting an experienced Senior CRA for a single sponsor partnership in Switzerland. The role covers site qualification, initiation, interim monitoring, site management and close-out visits, performed on-site or remotely, and ensures regulatory, ICH-GCP and protocol compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate site and site staff performance, escalate serious issues and develop action plans
• Verify informed consent, protect subject confidentiality and assess safety and data integrity risks
• Review source documents and medical records, check CRF accuracy and resolve queries within agreed timelines
• Check compliance with electronic data capture requirements and verify investigational product handling, labelling and dispensing
• Review the Investigator Site File, reconcile it with the Trial Master File and document site activities
• Support recruitment and retention, enter tracking data and liaise with sites and the project team
• Prepare for and attend investigator meetings, sponsor meetings and clinical training, and guide sites toward audit readiness
• Mentor junior CRAs, perform training and sign-off visits, and may be mentored by an experienced Clinical Operations Lead

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or RN in a related field, or equivalent education, training and experience
• Previous monitoring experience and oncology knowledge
• Fluency in German; French is an asset
• Location in Eastern Switzerland preferred; able to travel regularly up to 75%
