Senior Consultant / Assistant Manager – Corporate Tax

About the role

KPMG is looking for a Senior Consultant / Assistant Manager to join its Corporate Tax team in Geneva. You will advise national and international firms on tax implications of mergers, acquisitions, financing, real‑estate and supply‑chain projects, while supporting tax compliance and transformation initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Provide tax guidance on cross‑border transactions, reorganisations and financing structures.
• Assist clients with tax compliance, tax accounting and the redesign of tax functions.
• Integrate Swiss and international tax legislation into client analyses and recommendations.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary and global KPMG teams to deliver comprehensive solutions.
• Support the development of junior team members and contribute to knowledge sharing.
• Maintain direct communication with clients and tax authorities.

Required profile

• Swiss master’s degree in finance or law, or enrollment in the Swiss Certified Tax Expertise programme.
• 2‑5 years of corporate tax experience in Switzerland within multinational environments, Big 4 firms or fiduciary practices.
• Strong interest in business management and Swiss/international corporate tax law.
• Analytical, logical and adaptable mindset with a focus on process‑oriented thinking.
• High customer focus, teamwork orientation and dedication.
• Fluent in French and English; German is a plus.
