Senior Consultant Business Automation & Project Management

About the role

You will act as a key player in managing complex IT consulting and software development projects, bridging business needs and IT solutions for clients across various industries.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, implement and manage fixed‑price IT consulting and software development projects, ensuring timeline, quality and budget compliance.
• Serve as the interface between business departments and IT, conducting process analysis, requirements engineering and conceptual work on‑site.
• Prepare, moderate and evaluate strategy workshops, advising customers on operating model transformation, process excellence and automation strategies, including AI‑enabled solutions.
• Support account management, acquisition and pre‑sales activities, building networks and generating leads.

Required profile

• At least 4 years of experience in software project management or business analysis.
• Degree in (business) informatics, economics, business administration or comparable qualification.
• Fluent in English and German (C1 level).
• Willingness to travel regularly to customer sites within Switzerland.

Required skills

• Knowledge of AI‑enabled process automation, Intelligent Document Processing (IDP) and Generative AI use cases.
• Practical experience with agile project methods, test‑management and requirements engineering.
• Advanced modeling skills (BPMN) and familiarity with AI tools, LLMs and human‑in‑the‑loop workflows.
• Certification as a Project Manager (IPMA® Level C, PMP or Hermes Advanced) or readiness to obtain one.
