Senior Consultant – Financial Services Tax & Regulatory Advisory

About the role

Join EY's Tax Services team in Geneva as a Senior Consultant, supporting leading financial institutions on complex tax and regulatory matters. You will work with multidisciplinary teams, gaining international exposure and hands‑on experience in tax transparency and operational tax functions.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret, implement and apply regulatory and operational tax concepts, focusing on FATCA, QI and Automatic Exchange of Information.
• Guide clients through onboarding rules, review documentation, apply tax calculation rules, classify securities and support tax reporting to regulators and clients.
• Collaborate with Legal, Audit and Consulting colleagues across jurisdictions to develop holistic solutions.
• Participate in client secondments and on‑site projects, providing regular on‑the‑ground support.

Required profile

• 2‑5 years of experience in Swiss or international tax within a consulting firm, Big 4, or financial institution.
• Degree in law, economics, finance or related field (bachelor’s or master’s).
• Fluent in French and English; German or Italian a plus.
• Strong analytical, numerical and collaborative skills with an agile, growth‑oriented mindset.

Required skills

• Knowledge of tax transparency topics such as FATCA, QI and CRSA.
• Experience with tax calculation, securities classification and tax reporting processes.
