Senior Consultant – Fund Tax Reporting Services

About the role

EY’s Europe West Financial Services Tax team in Zurich is expanding its Swiss Fund Tax Reporting practice. As a Senior Consultant you will own end‑to‑end fund tax engagements, develop expertise in multi‑jurisdictional fund structures and support junior colleagues.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review Swiss income tax figures for investment funds, including taxable income per unit.
• Coordinate with EY partner offices, clients and fund administrators to obtain, validate and reconcile data for accurate reporting.
• Manage the reporting process end‑to‑end, planning timelines, monitoring deadlines and ensuring high‑quality delivery to clients and the Swiss Federal Tax Administration.
• Act as a trusted point of contact for clients on Swiss fund tax reporting matters.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and automation of reporting processes and tools.

Required profile

• University degree in law, economics, business administration, finance or a comparable field.
• 3‑5 years of experience in taxation, preferably within a Big‑4 firm, asset manager, fund administration or tax advisory environment.
• Excellent analytical, numerical and communication skills with a structured, detail‑oriented mindset.
• Full professional proficiency in English; German is an advantage.
• Collaborative, team‑oriented attitude and a strong sense of ownership.
