Senior Consultant - Risk and Controls Transformations

About the role

Deloitte Switzerland's Controls Transformation team is looking for a Senior Consultant in Zurich, working 80-100% of the time. The consultant helps clients build smart, lean and efficient internal control frameworks that fit both business needs and the digital world of the future, using techniques and the latest technology.

Key responsibilities

• Advise clients on controls enhancement opportunities, including ERP functionalities (SAP S/4HANA), Continuous Controls Monitoring (CCM), risk analytics and AI
• Support clients in transforming their internal controls framework while staying compliant
• Lead projects from scoping, programme and team selection through delivery, risk and quality management
• Support go-to-market initiatives and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to develop new and existing market offerings
• Lead, inspire, develop and coach the team

Required profile

• Minimum 2-4 years of experience delivering risk and internal controls transformation or audit projects
• Good understanding of finance business processes and technologies, and how to use ERP and digital tools for compliance and internal controls
• Knowledge of core business processes (e.g. PTP, OTC, RTR, Treasury, Tax, HR) and key risk management concepts
• In-depth experience in internal controls design, remediation and implementation
• Fluent English; German is highly advantageous
• Organized, with strong interpersonal and communication skills

Required skills

• Familiarity with SAP, AI for controls and GRC tools is advantageous
• Experience with ERP and digital technologies such as CCM or AI
