Senior Consultant - Supply Chain Procurement

About the role

EY is hiring a (Senior) Consultant for its Business Consulting practice in Supply Chain Procurement, based in Zurich, Lausanne or Geneva. You will accompany organisations in implementing company-wide procurement transformation programmes, from strategy and concept development through to implementation.

Key responsibilities

• Support Chief Procurement Officers in transforming the procurement function in a digital, data-driven environment
• Work with clients to design and implement future-ready procurement solutions and build trusted advisor relationships
• Drive digital procurement transformation with measurable value, such as efficiency gains, cost optimisation and improved resilience
• Use technologies such as AI-driven solutions, advanced analytics, automation and digital Source-to-Pay platforms
• Contribute to and lead sub-workstreams in client engagements, working in multidisciplinary teams (Finance, Tax, Strategy & Transactions)
• Help develop EY's knowledge and concepts for the practice and maintain internal and external relationships

Required profile

• Procurement experience at a management consultancy or in industry, in complex projects; may have led small teams
• 2-5 years of experience in procurement strategy and category management, procurement operating model, supplier management and supplier innovation, or source-to-pay management
• Strong interest in digital technologies applied to procurement, ideally with hands-on experience
• Fluency in English; German is a strong asset, French is desirable

Required skills

• Familiarity with procurement technologies such as SAP Ariba, Zycus, Archlet, ORO Labs, Zip, Omnea or Fairmarkit is an advantage
