Senior Consultant – Technology Strategy & Transformation (Financial Services)

About the role

EY’s Financial Services Organization (FSO) Technology Consulting team is looking for a senior‑level consultant to help clients shape and execute technology strategy and transformation programmes. The role combines business analysis, solution design and project delivery across banking, capital markets, wealth management and insurance.

Key responsibilities

• Understand clients' business needs and align IT strategies effectively.
• Create live demos for emerging technologies such as cloud, data analytics, ML/AI and process mining.
• Facilitate business transformation using agile and waterfall methodologies.
• Manage technology‑driven projects, including resource allocation, planning and oversight.
• Support IT cost‑optimization initiatives to improve financial efficiency.
• Participate in assessment, design and implementation projects.
• Analyze data to derive insights and propose actionable strategies.
• Communicate findings clearly to clients and senior team members.
• Collaborate in dynamic, cross‑functional teams to achieve project goals.

Required profile

• Passion for information technologies, digital innovation and financial services.
• Degree in Business IT, Computer Science, Business Administration or equivalent with a strong technology focus.
• Fluency in French and English; German is a plus.
• Experience in technology consulting or delivery within financial services (banking, capital markets, wealth & asset management or insurance).
• Strong analytical skills and ability to structure complex problems.
• Ability to communicate complex matters effectively to senior stakeholders.
