Senior Contract & Claims Manager

About the role

ABB is seeking a Senior Contract & Claims Manager to lead contract management services for its Process Industries Division. The role reports to the Head of Controlling and Contract Management and works across sales, operations, procurement, legal, and other key stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute contract management strategy in line with ABB policies, customer requirements, and execution plans.
• Analyze contract terms to identify risks, ambiguities, and opportunities throughout the project lifecycle.
• Enforce ABB’s contractual interests, monitor changes, and manage commercial claims against customers and suppliers.
• Collaborate with cross‑border and cross‑division teams to ensure consistent application of contract and risk management frameworks.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of international contract management experience in industrial systems delivery.
• Degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Business Administration, Contract Management or related field.
• Fluent in English and Spanish; German is a strong plus.
• Willingness to travel for customer meetings and ABB offices.
