Senior Controller

About the role

Astara Switzerland is seeking a Senior Controller to take full financial ownership of its Aftersales business across multiple automotive brands. You will work closely with brand‑specific teams to provide insight‑driven support for strategic and operational decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead budgeting, forecasting and cost‑control processes for service, parts and accessories.
• Monitor and analyse margins, revenue and overall financial performance to meet business objectives.
• Prepare and present regular profitability reports, cost trend analyses and KPI dashboards.
• Coordinate warranty and service‑contract reimbursements, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
• Analyse warranty claims to uncover margin‑improvement opportunities and reduce net warranty costs.
• Control inventory levels, track stock movements and evaluate inventory‑related cost impacts.
• Support the development of pricing strategies for spare parts and aftersales services.
• Act as a finance business partner to aftersales teams, delivering clear financial insights.

Required profile

• University degree in Business Administration, Finance or Controlling.
• 3–6 years of experience in controlling or aftersales finance, preferably in the automotive sector.
• Strong understanding of margin management, P&L responsibility and financial performance tracking.
• Experience with warranty processes, service contracts and inventory accounting is a plus.
• Fluent in German and English, both spoken and written.
