Senior Controlling & Reporting Specialist

About the role

Join a global healthcare leader focused on women's health as a Senior Controlling & Reporting Specialist. You will be responsible for month‑end closing, financial reporting across multiple accounting frameworks, and supporting integration projects during a 12‑month temporary assignment in Lucerne.

Key responsibilities

• Own month‑end closing for assigned legal entities, ensuring accurate Swiss GAAP FER and tax‑related ledger adjustments.
• Prepare financial statements under US GAAP, IFRS, Swiss GAAP and Swiss GAAP FER, and act as the main contact for Swiss GAAP FER audits.
• Coordinate audit documentation and liaise with external auditors to meet tight reporting deadlines.
• Drive legal entity integration projects and support accounting setup for new business activities.
• Collaborate closely with the Tax team on recurring tax matters and ledger adjustments.
• Manage the orderly wind‑down of an international inventory hub in Latin America.
• Safeguard a robust internal control environment through local control procedures aligned with corporate standards.
• Act as a trusted partner for cross‑functional finance teams, driving continuous process improvements.

Required profile

• Degree in Finance or Accounting (Bachelor's or Master's) with at least ten years of corporate finance or accounting experience.
• Chartered Accountant qualification is an advantage.
• Strong analytical skills and high ethical standards.
• Fluent English communication, both written and spoken.
• Solution‑oriented, confident personality with strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
• Flexible, resilient mindset and willingness to take on new projects at short notice.

Required skills

• Practical experience with SAP S/4HANA.
• Advanced Excel skills.
