Senior Cybersecurity Architect

About the role

Join IBM Consulting's Client Innovation Center as a Senior Cybersecurity Architect, shaping and strengthening security architecture for public and private sector clients worldwide. You will embed security by design across applications, platforms, infrastructure and digital solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Define and maintain cybersecurity architecture principles, standards, patterns and reference architectures.
• Design secure architectures across cloud, on‑premises, applications, networks, data and identity.
• Provide security guidance for major technology projects and transformation initiatives.
• Conduct architecture and security reviews, identify risks and recommend controls.
• Promote Zero Trust, IAM, network security, data protection and cloud security capabilities.

Required profile

• Significant experience in cybersecurity architecture or security engineering.
• Strong understanding of enterprise security‑by‑design principles and Zero Trust.
• Proven ability to translate business and technology requirements into pragmatic security solutions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
