Senior Data Analyst – Fintech (Switzerland)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Data Analyst to join a fast‑growing fintech environment in Switzerland. You will turn complex financial data into reliable insights that drive business decisions, regulatory reporting, and operational excellence while collaborating with finance, accounting, and data engineering teams.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain financial reporting solutions, dashboards, and performance metrics using BI tools such as Looker or Grafana.
• Analyze financial data stored in BigQuery to produce P&L reports, portfolio performance analysis, and executive‑level summaries.
• Automate reporting workflows and external data exports to support audit, compliance, and regulatory reviews.
• Partner with Finance and Accounting to translate business requirements into scalable data models and reporting solutions.
• Design data‑quality frameworks with automated validation, monitoring, and alerting.
• Develop financial models and forecasting tools for LTV, retention, profitability, and expected loss.
• Perform advanced analysis, anomaly detection, and experimentation using SQL, Python, and analytical frameworks.
• Collaborate with Data Engineering to improve data‑warehouse structures and analytical capabilities.
• Leverage modern AI and analytics technologies to enhance financial insights and automation.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in data analysis, financial analytics, regulatory reporting, or related roles within fintech, payments, banking, or financial services.
• Expert‑level SQL skills, preferably with BigQuery or similar platforms.
• Strong proficiency in Python, including Pandas and NumPy.
• Extensive experience with business intelligence tools such as Looker, Grafana, Tableau, or Power BI.
