Senior Data Scientist - Real-World Evidence (RWE)

About the role

Rewoso is looking for an experienced, analytically strong and versatile Senior Data Scientist in real-world evidence (RWE). The role combines advanced statistical expertise and scientific research with project management and client-oriented consulting. You will design, execute and interpret RWE projects using data from medical registries and other real-world data sources, working with physicians, scientific experts, registries and pharmaceutical companies.

Key responsibilities

• Develop study designs, Statistical Analysis Plans (SAPs) and analytical strategies for various research questions and disease areas
• Independently interpret results and generate evidence to inform clinical, scientific and regulatory decisions
• Contribute to and lead scientific manuscripts, abstracts and conference presentations
• Plan, coordinate and manage multiple projects with stakeholders such as pharmaceutical companies, registries and clinical experts
• Develop project concepts, proposals and presentations, and pitch ideas to current and prospective clients
• Maintain relationships with clients, team members, healthcare professionals and data partners
• Mentor junior colleagues and help improve scientific methods, consulting services and internal processes

Required profile

• Master's degree in a quantitative or scientific discipline (statistics, data science, epidemiology, pharmacoepidemiology, biostatistics, medicine or related); a PhD is an advantage
• Several years of experience in statistical analysis, epidemiological research or medical evidence generation
• Experience writing and speaking German and English
• Nice to have: PhD, pharmaceutical industry experience, knowledge of causal inference, propensity scores or longitudinal data analysis, registry data experience, conference presentation experience, and consulting experience

Required skills

• Hands-on R programming within the last five years, able to run analyses independently and reproducibly
• Scientific publications, including peer-reviewed articles
• Project management with multiple stakeholders
