About the role

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join a technology‑driven organisation that operates a large‑scale, mission‑critical web platform in Bern. You will work at the intersection of software engineering, IT operations and architecture, helping to drive a digital transformation focused on scalability, security and long‑term platform excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure stable, secure and highly available operation of complex application environments.
• Design and implement modern deployment and release strategies using GitOps principles.
• Build, optimise and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automation workflows.
• Collaborate with software engineers on system architecture and platform integration.
• Develop and manage scalable Infrastructure as Code solutions.
• Strengthen observability, monitoring and operational excellence across environments.

• Senior‑level experience in DevOps or platform engineering.
• Proven ability to work autonomously and influence technical decisions.
