Senior DevOps Engineer – Infrastructure & Cloud Specialist

About the role

We are a leading medical device company seeking a senior DevOps Engineer to design, build, and operate our end‑to‑end infrastructure. You will work across hardware, on‑premises clusters, and cloud services, enabling developers and solution engineers to deliver high‑quality, reliable products.

Key responsibilities

• Design, assemble, and integrate hardware for on‑premises HA clusters.
• Develop and maintain the RLX hardware‑in‑the‑loop testing infrastructure.
• Create and operate platforms for build servers, CI runners, and artifact repositories.
• Integrate infrastructure with external services such as GitLab, GitHub, Artifactory, and Slack.
• Implement declarative Infrastructure‑as‑Code solutions.
• Build monitoring, alerting, and inventory management services.
• Provide self‑service platforms for developers and solution engineers.
• Design lifecycle management, backup, emergency, and disaster‑recovery procedures.
• Manage and integrate cloud and on‑premises environments.
• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitHub).

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience in Software Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, SRE, or DevOps.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or related field.
• Proven track record of building and operating production‑grade infrastructure platforms.
• Strong collaboration skills with software engineers, solution architects, and product teams.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English; German is a plus.
