Senior Director Planning Systems & Processes

About the role

The Senior Director, Planning Systems & Processes will define and execute the global strategy for supply chain planning systems, data and standardized end‑to‑end processes across Johnson & Johnson’s Medical Devices & Solutions business. The role leads the transformation from a fragmented application landscape to an integrated advanced planning and ERP‑enabled planning model.

Key responsibilities

• Set and own the multi‑year global strategy, target architecture and investment roadmap for planning systems and processes.
• Lead selection, design, implementation and adoption of a single enterprise Advanced Planning System (APS) covering demand, supply, inventory, capacity and scenario planning.
• Partner with ERP leadership to define planning requirements and ensure seamless integration between APS and ERP.
• Provide executive sponsorship for company separation, overseeing readiness, risk mitigation, cut‑over governance and Day 1 sign‑off.
• Establish global process ownership and governance for demand, supply, production, distribution and capacity planning.
• Drive digital enablement, advanced analytics and AI‑enabled decision support to move toward autonomous planning.

Required profile

• Senior leader with extensive experience in global supply chain planning and transformation.
• Proven ability to lead cross‑functional teams across planning, commercial, finance, IT and digital functions.
• Strong governance and change‑management skills to ensure regulatory compliance and operational continuity.
