Senior Electrical Engineer

About the role

AYES is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join its aerospace projects in Basel, Switzerland. The role focuses on the integration of avionic and cabin electrical systems, supporting both ground and flight testing activities within a highly innovative engineering environment.

Key responsibilities

• Integrate avionic and cabin systems into aerospace projects.
• Create detailed electrical wiring diagrams using CAD tools.
• Produce technical documentation for electrical systems.
• Support ground and flight testing, including validation and troubleshooting of installed equipment.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams and external suppliers.
• Manage engineering changes and system integration activities.

Required profile

• BSc in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in avionics or cabin systems integration.
• Proven experience creating electrical wiring diagrams with CAD tools.
• Strong background in the aerospace industry and knowledge of aircraft electrical systems.
• English proficiency at least B2 level.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Basel, Switzerland.
