Senior Electrical Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a passionate Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team and take responsibility for the design, development, and certification of aircraft electrical systems. From concept through production, you will ensure every project meets the highest standards of safety, quality, and innovation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and support all electrical activities across assigned projects.
• Conduct surveys and validate technical assumptions for quotations.
• Design system architectures and select components compliant with RTCA DO-160 and DO-178.
• Collaborate with certification teams to define and implement compliance strategies.
• Produce and maintain engineering drawings aligned with project milestones.
• Work closely with suppliers to define interfaces and ensure seamless integration.
• Identify risks, propose technical improvements, and troubleshoot challenges to keep timelines on track.
• Contribute to testing, reporting, and certification documentation.
• Act as project lead for electrical activities and support the Electrical Leader when needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related aeronautical discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in aircraft electrical engineering and project/team management.
• Proficient with CAD tools (AutoCAD, TeamCenter) and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent communicator with a proactive, collaborative mindset.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
• Fluent in English; French and/or German are a plus.
