Senior EP Mapping Specialist - AFFERA

About the role

Medtronic is looking for a Senior AFFERA Mapping and Therapy Specialist to support its growing cardiac ablation business after acquiring the AFFERA Mapping and Ablation System. The role provides expert clinical and technical support and training to physicians and EP lab staff on the optimal use of the AFFERA system. It is a field-based position covering all of Switzerland and, in specific cases, Western Europe, with home office as the main workplace and occasional visits to the Medtronic office.

Key responsibilities

• Provide clinical and technical assistance on the AFFERA Mapping and Ablation System and other Cardiac Ablation Solutions products, including troubleshooting and advanced clinical workflow development.
• Deliver in-service training to hospital stakeholders, support training centre development and mentor new colleagues.
• Build and maintain professional customer relationships and optimise customer experience.
• Plan cases and territory, prioritising case coverage and taking part in territory reviews with the Sales Manager.
• Work with field service engineers, the technical department and marketing, and give feedback on new product development.
• Keep up to date on product information, IFUs and scientific literature, and follow company training and documentation requirements.
• Take part in regional and international congresses, symposia and workshops to represent Medtronic.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in electrical or medical engineering or a related scientific discipline.
• At least 3 years of clinical electrophysiology (EP) experience.
• At least 2 years of proven independent support of EP mapping procedures.
• Fluent German and English; French is a plus.
• Valid driver's licence and ability to work in EP labs and meet vendor credentialing requirements.

What we offer

• Salary range in Switzerland of 117,600 to 176,400 CHF, depending on experience, skills and qualifications.
